Next year in spring 2021 it will be that time again! The 23rd JCF Frühjahrssymposium, one of the largest conferences for young researchers in Europe, will take place in Leipzig from March 29 to April 1, 2021. With our motto United in Chemistry, we want to celebrate diversity! In this way, the JCFs of Berlin, Dresden, Halle, and Leipzig are delighted to invite everyone interested in chemistry to Leipzig to celebrate diversity together. Our diversity, which is reflected in different interests and research focuses, origins and genders, passions and appreciations, is what sets us apart. We are all United in Chemistry! As a part of the great scientific community, we act in concert for new knowledge, efficient processes or the inspiration of young talents. In short: for a better world – the world of tomorrow. The pentagonal ring in our logo is a symbol for the JCF regional groups, its members and chemists from all over the world – for all of us – working together.

The highlights of the conference are the top-class plenary and keynote presentations. As part of the plenary lectures Prof. Dr. Polly L. Arnold (Berkeley), Prof. Dr. Dieter Schlüter (Zurich) and Sir Martyn Poliakoff (Nottingham) are invited, as well as Prof. Dr. Anke C. Nölscher (Bayreuth), Prof. Dr. Klaus Kümmerer (Lüneburg) and Dr. Jonas Warnecke (Leipzig) for the keynote lectures. All speakers will give exciting insights into their research activities. Besides, young researchers from all across Europe will present their research in short talks and a large poster session. A delicate conference dinner and various social activities complete the program and will give you the opportunity to learn more about the city of Leipzig. Once again, you will be able to connect with other young chemists as well as with leading scientists and various companies. So, what are you waiting for? Let's get United in Chemistry!
