Our JCF delegates in the IYCN

Marcel Leuschner

Marcel Leuschner is a PhD student at the University Bonn. He is working on titanocene catalysis and the electrochemical and photochemical activation of titanocene complexes. Since 2014 he is a member of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) and is active in its young chemists’ network (JCF). Besides holding various offices of the JCF Bonn, he was involved in an organization team for the ‘Frühjahrssymposium 2020’ in Cologne. Currently he is the chairman of the JCF Bonn.

Christoph Wulf

Christoph Wulf is a young professional and works as science manager for hydrogen technologies and renewable resources at the Leibniz-Institute for Catalysis in Rostock. As former chairperson of the national board of the Young Chemists’ Network (JCF) in the German Chemical Society (GDCh) he is experienced in science communication and handling the interests of young chemists. Since 2019 he is one of our delegates within the IYCN and took part in the first IYCN General Assembly and the IUPAC Conference 2019 in Paris where he presented the work and aims of the German young chemists’ network to a broad international audience.

 

Experiment Database für anschauliche Experimente

Das IYCN veranstaltet jedes Jahr einen Experiment-Wettbewerb für Öffentlichkeitsarbeit. Die besten Experimente und ihre Vorschriften werden gesammelt und online frei zur Verfügung gestellt. Sie eignen sich ideal für öffentliche Chemie-Veranstaltungen. Momentan läuft die Auswertung der Einreichungen für die Outreach Experiment Competition.
